What Is Hot-Rolled Sheet?

The rolling process can be defined as the reshaping of a hard material. The hot-rolling process, on the other hand, refers to the reshaping of a hard material after it has been heated.

Hot-rolled steel sheet products are steel materials that have been shaped by applying heat above 540 degrees. This shaping process is made possible by applying heat. Steel shaped by heat is called hot-rolled steel sheet. Steel, which is hard by nature, becomes easier to shape after being subjected to high temperatures. Applying heat allows the steel to be processed more easily.

How Is Rolling Performed?

During the rolling process, steel is fed between two opposing cylinders. This steel must first be exposed to heat to become malleable. The steel, having entered between the two cylinders, emerges with a thinner structure, and the rolling process is complete.
